Mish has been a naturopath for 20 years having studied an Advanced Diploma of Naturopathy at Nature Care College in Sydney with qualifications in herbal medicine, nutrition, homeopathy and iridology. Mish has a passion for food and all things healthy. She loves working with people who are looking to improve their health and need individualised help regarding foods that may work well for them.

Mish loves helping families gain better health, with a particular interest in babies and children. She also has experience in treating various gut problems, in particular long term constipation and chronic gut issues, in people of all ages.

Mish is active in the naturopathic community and regularly updates her knowledge by attending seminars and post graduate training to keep on top of the latest research in natural medicine.

She also works in a private clinic in Broadmeadow where she helps people with chronic illnesses such as rheumatoid arthritis, Lyme disease, long term gut issues as well as hormonal imbalances, anxiety and depression. Connect with Mish at mishkeats.com.au.

When she’s not at work Michelle loves the outdoors, especially bushwalking and spending time with her family.

Sarah studied at Southern Cross University (Lismore) and graduated with a Bachelor of Naturopathy in 2010. Prior to being a naturopath Sarah was a beauty therapist for 9 years, so she has nearly 20 years of combined knowledge about skin. She also has a Diploma of Remedial Massage and Diploma of Aromatherapy specialising in Lymphatic and Relaxation Massage with over 14 years experience.

Sarah started work at Visionary Health in 2013 as both a Naturopath and a Lab Technician, and enjoys attending seminars and webinars to keep updated on the latest research in natural medicine.

As a naturopath Sarah treats the person as a whole not just their disease. She believes that disease is multifactorial, and that just treating the symptoms only masks the underlying cause.
Sarah offers expert naturopathic advice and utilises many different health modalities (Nutrition, Homeopathy, Herbal Medicine). She can formulate specific amino acid and nutritional blends for your needs to achieve the best possible personalised care that suits your health and lifestyle requirements.

Sarah specialises in treating digestive complaints (including SIBO), immune support, autoimmune conditions, cancer support, allergies, thyroid, skin conditions, kids health, stress and adrenal fatigue, sleep issues, Pyrrole Disorder and MTHFR support. Complex cases are her specialty. Sarah also practices privately in a multidisciplinary clinic in Broadmeadow.
When she’s not here she enjoys rockabilly and swing dancing and having fun with her friends.

Emma has been a naturopath since 2003. She studied at Nature Care College where she completed an Advanced Diploma of Naturopathy as well as concurrently studying at Charles Sturt University where she completed a Bachelor of Health Science in Complementary Medicine. She has a special interest in hormones, fertility, weight management and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Emma has been with Visionary Health since 2012. Prior to working here, she had her own private clinic and has been an account manager for a traditional Chinese Medicine Company. All up, Emma has been in the natural health industry for 20 years.

She loves the outdoors, especially hiking and surfing, and spending time with her family and close friends. She is an avid cook and loves experimenting with food and flavours, and likes to use food as medicine.

Allie began working at Visionary Health in 2021 after completing her Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy. Back in 2017 she fell in love with naturopathy after she made the connection that the herbs she had in her garden had a unique set of actions that could address the root cause of many different health conditions.The holistic and gentle approach that naturopathy follows has led to Allie’s passion for helping people ever since that moment. Allie enjoys supporting digestive complaints, immune health, mental health and fatigue related conditions.

Before becoming a naturopath Allie worked as a raw pastry chef, therefore loves to incorporate delicious and nourishing dietary goals into her treatment suggestions.

When she’s not at work, Allie enjoys researching her next travel adventure, reading and getting out in nature with her chihuahua, Olive.

Deanne Apostolou

Deanne is a traditionally trained herbalist who incorporates her many years of experience with the latest research. Deanne believes that physical and emotional health are intertwined which is why she uses Bach Flower Essences in all her herbal tonics. She is passionate about helping you realise your health goals by guiding you to make small changes in your lifestyle habits. She uses herbal medicines to gently nudge the body back into balance. Deanne has a special interest in adrenal fatigue, menopause, inflammatory conditions and autoimmune diseases.

In her spare time Deanne loves spending time outdoors walking with her fur baby Max,
cycling and enjoying our beautiful coastline.

Catherine is a naturopath, massage therapist and Reiki Master who studied locally in
Newcastle at the Academy of Complementary Health. Her motto in life is live, love and be happy and she brings that enthusiasm to her work. She has a passion for helping you understand and manage imbalances in your body. Catherine especially cares for those needing help with anxiety, stress management and adrenal fatigue, coupled with depression and gut health care. She is abreast of all immune boosting support in both acute and chronic conditions.

Before becoming a naturopath Catherine spent 10 years working for the Dept of Sport and Recreation which is why ‘Adventure’ is her middle name. She loves spending her spare
time running roads and trails, playing soccer, yoga, beaching, hiking and meditating.

Cath has been a clinical Medical Herbalist for over 28 years, studying locally with Nancy Evelyn and more recently in the UK gaining her Master of Science in Herbal Medicine. She is inspired by the traditional healing methods of food and plant medicines and provides foundational healthcare for people from all walks of life to rejuvenate their life force to heal and manage their illness.

Cath provides nourishing support for women’s life cycle transitions in the menarche, for
fertility, pregnancy and motherhood and into peri-menopause and onwards into the golden
years. Cath has also recently gained post-grad qualifications in Integrative Oncology (cancer
care) – and can support you on your cancer journey.

After many years of working in her community on the Mid Coast and in Copenhagen – Denmark, Cath is home again caring for her community in the Hunter and Newcastle region.

Cath is a keen medicine maker in her private clinic and makes by hand herbal extracts,
creams and blends medicinal teas from plants she grows, sources or gathers from the wild.
She is otherwise busy swimming in the ocean, hanging out in nature and loving her friends
and family.

Sshh…don’t tell anyone…Carla loves daisies and gardening.

She is also passionate about the human microbiome garden i.e. the many beneficial bacteria that are about more than just your tummy health, they also contribute to your overall health. Carla uses herbal medicine and nutrition to feed the microbiome to achieve better health outcomes for you.

Over the past 20 years, Carla has gained extensive naturopathic experience in Australia and abroad. She is completing a master’s degree in Advanced Naturopathic Medicine and contributing to research studies in that field.
